Suitability over sales
We recommend what fits your goal, your horizon and your tolerance for a fall — never what pays the highest commission. If nothing fits, we say so.

Who we are
Pramod Kumar Panigrahi is an AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-210361), operating from Burla, Sambalpur in Odisha.
We are not a call centre and we are not a product factory. When you call the number on this website, you reach the person who will still be handling your folio in ten years. When your family needs a redemption, a nominee change or a transmission after a death, they will not be starting a relationship from scratch — they will be continuing one.
Most of our clients are teachers, doctors, government staff, shopkeepers, small business owners and salaried families — across India, and abroad as well. Many started with a ₹1,000 SIP. That is genuinely how it is supposed to begin.
What we hold ourselves to
They cost us business sometimes. That is rather the point of having them.
We recommend what fits your goal, your horizon and your tolerance for a fall — never what pays the highest commission. If nothing fits, we say so.
Ask the commission on any scheme and we will tell you, before you invest a rupee. Our disclosure of interest explains how we are paid.
Every recommendation comes with the downside stated first, in plain words, in the language you are most comfortable in.
Every investment goes directly to the AMC, insurer or issuer in your own name. We never accept cash and never ask you to transfer to a personal account.
Figures describe the scale of our practice. They say nothing about the performance of any scheme and are not an indication of the returns any investor has received or will receive.
Our position
Being clear about this saves everyone a great deal of trouble later, so we put it plainly:
Common questions
No. We do not charge investors a fee. We distribute regular plans of mutual fund schemes and receive commission from the Asset Management Company whose scheme you invest in. That commission is paid by the AMC out of the scheme's expense ratio — you do not pay us separately. Ask us the commission on any scheme and we will tell you before you invest.
A direct plan has a lower expense ratio because no distributor commission is built into it. A regular plan costs slightly more and includes the commission that pays for the service, hand-holding and paperwork we provide. Both hold exactly the same portfolio. You are free to invest in direct plans on your own; we distribute regular plans and say so openly.
An SIP can begin at ₹1,000 a month in many schemes, and lumpsum investments typically start at ₹1,000 or ₹5,000 depending on the scheme. What matters far more than the amount is that the investment matches a goal and a time horizon.
Never. Your investment is made directly with the Asset Management Company in your own name, and units are held in your folio with the AMC's registrar (CAMS or KFintech). We never accept cash and never ask for a transfer to a personal account. If anyone ever asks you to, that is not us.
Yes, and this is a large part of the job. We help with nominee registration at the time of investment and assist your family with transmission of units, claim filing on insurance policies and consolidation of statements. Please register a nominee on every folio — it saves your family months of difficulty.
